Your calendar is full and sales are still thin
Owners often tell me they do not have a sales problem because they are slammed. The shop is full. The inbox is ugly. Someone is waiting. And yet new work is lumpy, discounts creep in, and next month is a fog.
That pattern usually means the constraint is not capacity to do the work. It is capacity to turn interest into a yes on purpose. Busy delivery hides a weak pipeline until a quiet month arrives and panic does the selling.
A useful test: look at the last ten paying customers and write down, for each one, the moment they actually decided. If you cannot name that moment, you do not have a sales process. You have luck with extra steps.
The fix is rarely a new tool. It is making the next step obvious, saying it every time, and keeping a short list of people who have not taken it yet. That is unglamorous. It also works.
