A CRM will not find the constraint

When sales feel messy, buying a CRM feels like doing something. You get fields, stages, and a dashboard. Then the owner still closes deals in a text thread, and the dashboard is a museum.

A CRM is a memory. It cannot tell you that your offer is vague, that you quote too late, or that you are talking to people who cannot buy. Those are constraints in the work, not missing columns.

Put the process in language a tired owner can follow on a Thursday. Then, if a tool helps you remember the next call, use one. Sequence matters. Tool-first is how small businesses collect subscriptions instead of customers.
